  • A2:The safest way to get the color that best matches your own hair is to take advantage of our Color Ring. Generally If you are looking for a complete change, always remember it is more flattering to choose a lighter shade than your own to create a softer and more youthful look.If you go darker the effects can be quite harsh and unflattering, you would need to wear a much darker make-up to balance your look.Note: Different settings on individual monitors may distort or change colors, so the real hair color may be slightly different from what you see here.

  • Q3: What are Bleached Knots? And why do I need it?
  • A3:When a dark hair is tied to the base of a lace wig with a knot, you can see a dark dot on the skin, especially when the base is lace. Lace cannot hide the knot in the same way a monofilament base does. Bleached knots usually are only done at the front of the lace wig and it helps create the illusion that your hair is growing out of your head.

    1. Circumference: Measure all around the head. Position tape measure so its edge follows the hair line around the head and nape of the neck.
    2. Front to Nape: Measure from hairline at center of forehead straight back over crown to center of hairline at nape of neck.
    3. Ear to Ear across forehead: At front of ear, measure from hairline at base of sideburn, up across the hair line along forehead to same point in front of other ear.
4.Ear to Ear over top: Measure from hairline directly above the ear across top of head to the hairline directly above the other ear.
    5. Temple to Temple round back: From temple to temple across the back of head.
    6. Nape of Neck: Measure the width of hairline across the nape of the neck.

  • Q14: Is wearing a wig harmful to my natural hair?
  • A14:Hair grows on the average about a half an inch a month. Pressure does not keep hair from growing. The only factor that will stop hair from growing is lack of circulation or clogged pores. Stay away from wax conditioners (like cream rinses). Also, your scalp does need to be stimulated. We highly suggest massaging your scalp vigorous about 15 minutes daily. This can be accomplished by brushing your scalp maybe before you go to bed or while watching TV or reading. It will keep the hair follicles clear and the blood flow going to the roots.

  • Q17: What is a lace wig?
  • A17:A wig which is made out of Remy human hair with a mesh like lace insert (base) in the front or all around (for ponytails) or full system into which individual hairs are hand-tied. This creates a realistic looking hairline. The lace is trimmed to match the skin after purchase so that only a part that looks comfortable and more realistic to the client is left. When using special adhesive, the hairline is so realistic looking that it is virtually undetectable that it is not the wearer??s own growing hair. This is the wig worn by most famous women in Hollywood.

  • Q20: Can you give me some information on cap types?
  • A20:The cap is the base of the wig onto which hair is attached. Wigs are available with several different types of caps and the hair of the wig is then attached to the cap using various techniques. Each cap type has its own distinct advantages. On most wigs, hair is attached in wefts. These are strings of hair doubled over and sewn closely together in long strands. This string is then machine sewn, hand sewn or hand tied horizontally onto the vertical lines of a wig cap. A standard cap is the most common and most affordable cap design. The layers of hair are machine-sewed onto the cap, which has a closed lace layer at the crown. The hair is pre-designed into a specific style and the crown is often lightly teased or crimped so you cannot see down through to the cap. This type of cap often gives the hair a natural lift at the crown for volume. A capless wig is very similar to the standard cap design. However, instead of the closed lace layer at the crown, it has vertical lace strips with open spaces between the wefts. The open-wefting in the crown, back, and sides allows for maximum ventilation. This makes the cap lighter weight and cooler than a standard cap. Monofilament caps are constructed using a thin, breathable nylon or polyester mesh material at the crown that gives the illusion of skin and assumes the wearer's natural scalp color by partially revealing the scalp below. Monofilament caps offer the most natural look as well as styling versatility because each hair is individually hand tied at the crown so the hair can be parted and brushed in any direction. The entire wig may be hand tied, or the wig may have a monofilament crown with wefted sides and back. Monofilament wigs are an especially good choice for those with severe or total hair loss as the cap is soft, unlike cloth material, which can be itchy to those with sensitive scalps.

  • Q21: which lace color will be suitable for me?
  • A21:
The color of lace varies according to different factors. But whatever lace you choose, the most important point is to bring you a natural appearance by showing the similar or nearly same color as your skin tone.

Most ladies prefer to choose a lace with color close to their skin tone, also you can realize the effect by using makeup, then it's best to select a shade that can blend with your own skin tone. If you decide to use makeup, a shade close to or lighter than your own will be perfect.

    Our standard lace colors are:
    transparent: suitable for most complexions
light brown: suitable for women with light brown skin
brown: suitable for those with medium brown complexions
dark brown: suitable for those with dark brown skin

  • Q22: how do I choose my hair styles?
  • A22:

Oval--oval is commonly considered a perfect face shape, with forehead, cheekbones, jaw line and chin balanced proportionally. So the face looks pretty on about any hair style and length.

Round-- this face shows fullness at the cheeks and has a rounded shape. Avoid straight bangs or pulling hair straight back, as well as curly, short hair. Soft, graduated layers will make your face appear slimmer and remove bulk.

Square--This face features broad forehead and cheekbones as well as a wide chin. so such ppl should aim to minimize squared-off brow and soften the sharp angle of jawline, avoid styles that add width at the jawline, so try to lengthen the face and add fullness on top.

Diamond--The face has a narrow chin and forehead with wide cheekbones. You should choose the wig which can hide your cheeks width, and make chin full. And try some fringe or bang to cover your narrow forehead.

Heart--The shape is characterized narrow at the jaw line, wider at the eye line, cheek bones and the brow line. So the most favorite hairstyle for you is a pageboy type and puny layers. Also a medium length to mid-neck is your best look.

Pear--This is a barely common face shape. Presenting a wide chin and jaw line and narrow at the hairline and forehead. Full layers looks adding width and volume from the eyes to the crown are ideal for the shape.

Oblong--long and narrow bone structure, about the same width at forehead and just below cheekbones. So try to get medium lengths, fullness at the sides, soft wispy bangs, avoiding one length cuts and short layers that add volume to the crown areas.

  • Q23: How to Wash a Wig?
  • A23:1) put wig on a head model or a fixed bracket when it's not used. All wigs made of any material used for a long time are subject to be polluted and changed on style, so the cap is more recommended due to fixedness and easy cleaning. 2) fill a washbasin with COOL water and gentle shampoo, then submerge wig into water for about 5-7 minutes 3) swish wig gently and rinse it thoroughly till no suds remain 4) lightly shake wig and let water drop, DO NOT BRUSH WIG WHEN WET 5) place the wig on a bath towel to completely dry overnight, or you may place it on a folding wig stand, which will speed up the drying process 6) When completely dry, brush wig into desired style, DO NOT BRUSH CURLS

  • Q25: What is a lace front wig?
  • A25:Lace front wigs are manufactured with a thin lace that extends from ear to ear across the hairline. Lace front wigs are made similar to a regular ladies wig along the back and sides of the unit. When you receive the unit the lace will be really long in the front, you will cut the lace along the front of the unit. The goal here is to create yourself a new hairline. You will not cut all of the lace, as you will apply adhesive to the lace/your new hairline. Once the unit is applied, you will have on a full hair wig - but the front of the hair wig will not be like a regular wig. The wig will appear that it is growing directly from your head.

  • Q26: What is a full lace wig?
  • A26:Full lace wigs are manufactured with a cap, and a thin lace sewn on top of the cap. Individual hairs are then sewn into the thin lace. Full lace wigs will have lace all around the unit, and require the lace to be cut all around the unit. You will be cutting a hairline around your entire head. By doing so, once done you can wear your hair anyway you like, ponytails, up-dos etc. Think about it. With the wig, you have just cut yourself a new hairline around your entire head. Once the unit is applied, you will have on a full hair wig - but the front , back, and sides of the hair wig will not be like a regular wig. The wig will appear that all of the hair is growing directly from your head.

  • Q27: What's the difference between lace front and full lace wigs?
  • A27:Lace front wigs are manufactured with a thin lace that extends from ear to ear across the hairline. A lace front wig does not have lace around the back, and therefore cannot be worn in a high ponytail with the back showing. While the full lace wig is lace all around, and can be worn up in a high ponytail. Both wigs can be parted anywhere, anyhow, and both offer a natural look.

  • Q28: Is it okay to get the lace wig wet while swimming?
  • A28:It is ok for the lace wig to get wet; you can even go swimming with it. Before swimming, please verify that your adhesive is waterproof. Also, do not go swimming until after your application has dried for at least 8 hours. Before swimming, place the hair on the wig in a low ponytail. This will help ensure the hair does not tangle from the chlorine while swimming. After swimming, you may need to wash and condition the wig.

  • Q30: Which is better, French or Swiss lace?
  • A30:It really is a matter of preference. Swiss lace is finer and more fragile than French lace. Swiss lace blends better with the skin for a less visible appearance. French lace is slightly thicker and more durable. Both lace types can be colored different shades of brown to blend with a variety of complexions.

  • Q31: Can I wear this wig even if I have my own hair?
  • A31:Yes. But you will have to make your own hair as flat as possible.

  • Q32: What's the difference between synthetic and human hair wigs?
  • A32:Synthetic wigs There is a variety of synthetic fibers used to make a synthetic wig, but all fibers are fine threads of fiber made to resemble human hair. The manufacturer may use a single type of fiber or a combination of two or three different fibers. The synthetic wigs made today are more natural looking than ever before. Synthetic wigs are pre-styled from the manufacturer and require very little effort on the part of the wearer with regard to combing and styling the wig when worn. These wigs are easily washed and should be allowed to air dry. The synthetic wig is designed to retain the original style and will not accept a permanent wave or color change. And curling irons, blow dryers or hot rollers are never allowed to dry synthetic wigs. Human hair wigs A human hair wig is the most natural looking option available to you when you have lost your own hair. Like your own natural hair, a human hair wig can be cut, styled, permed or colored to suit your personal taste. Human hair wigs are more durable than a synthetic wig. Human hair wigs require more cares than synthetic wigs.

Step 2 When the glue for the first section is dry, apply the wig to that area starting at the center of the forehead and then working to the right and the left. Stick the wig to the glue 1 inch at a time. Step 3 As you place the edge of the wig in the glue, rub your finger in a circular motion to make the wig stick and to give the appearance of baby hair coming from the scalp, which will make the wig look more natural. Step 4 Proceed to the sides of the head and back hairlines in the same manner, after the front of the wig is applied. Repeat Steps 1-3 until the entire head is completed. Step 5 Trim and style the wig as needed. Treat your wig as you would your own hair, covering it at night before you go to bed and following manufacturing instructions for care.
